The first two Tim Burton themed prints I offered on my Etsy page were obviously from The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a classic. Although the prints look pretty standard, they do have a slightly interesting back story. When I was stuck at my corporate desk job, I would doodle on Post-It Notes when I was bored or on hold with HQ. My very first sketch was of Jack, since it was October at the time. I stuck him to my desk to help make it feel more festive. After him, I had to sketch Sally, it only made sense. Eventually, I had so many sketches I would line them up on my desk in a grid pattern and switch them out as I drew more interesting images. Later on, I scanned Jack & Sally, "digitized" them, and gave them some color. Who would have thought the prints came from such humble beginnings?!
